What I Do

Hi there. I’m Ashley Barnhart and I was born and raised in Walla Walla. I have always had a passion for health and wellness. I graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2013. I’ve been an athlete and an avid fitness lover most of my life. I have practiced many different forms of fitness over the years but my passion is in strength training. I’ve coached fitness for just over 6 years specializing in prenatal and postnatal fitness originally (I’m a mother of two young daughters). For the past three years my focus has been in educating myself in getting stronger. I have extensive knowledge in exercise mechanics, core strengthening, form and program design.

Most of us grew up with society telling us being thin was the only way to be fit and healthy. Over the past decade, fitness professionals have changed the narrative to being the strongest version of ourselves physically and mentally. I am excited to help facilitate that change here at Calhoon’s Fitness.

I am a firm believer that anyone can fall in love with fitness and make it a lifestyle change that will last. Come get fitter, stronger and mentally well with me.

Preferred times: Mon/Wed 8:00am–12:00pm
Tues/Thurs contact to arrange
Saturdays 8:00am–2:00 pm
